German premium bathroom brand hansgrohe is pushing the boundaries of design and engineering with the launch of Avalegra AquaUnit, a new product that merges the washbasin and faucet into one integrated system. The concept introduces a fresh category to the bathroom space, where form and function converge into a single, streamlined unit.

The standout feature is its reimagined relationship with water. Avalegra allows for two distinct flows: a classic waterfall stream cascading from above, and a spring-like release bubbling upward from below the basin. Both are designed to transform an everyday ritual into a more sensory, almost sculptural experience.

Avalegra isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about usability. A curved, swiveling spout is paired with an integrated shower spray that delivers water in a parabolic gesture, arching toward the user rather than falling passively down. A built-in pressure limiter reduces water consumption to just five liters per minute, reflecting hansgrohe’s ongoing commitment to sustainable resource use.

Every element of Avalegra has been consolidated into one unit. The integrated spray disk anchors the design, while side-mounted controls allow users to adjust flow, spray type, and temperature, with the ability to save preferred settings. Finish options range from classic Chrome to Matt Black, Brushed Bronze, and Polished Gold Optic.

The basin itself, crafted from durable Solid Surface material, is scratch-resistant, non-porous, and designed for longevity. Even in the event of wear, surfaces can be repolished, ensuring Avalegra maintains its presence as a centerpiece in modern bathrooms.
