OPPO Reno15 Series Lands in SA with Premium Features

Just a few months after unveiling its flagship Find X9 Pro in November, OPPO is back with a new mid-range lineup, introducing the Reno15 Series to the South African market. The latest range, which includes the Reno15 Pro and Reno15 F, will be available nationwide from 7 February.

Building on one of OPPO’s most established and recognised device families locally, the Reno Series enters its next chapter with a clear focus on refined design, improved display and camera performance, and a premium mid-tier experience that prioritises value. At a time when smartphone prices continue to rise across the market, OPPO has opted to keep pricing steady, reinforcing the Reno Series’ position as a strong all-rounder for everyday users.

A Refined Premium Mid-Tier Experience

Designed for both work and everyday life, the two Reno15 models available locally feature slim profiles, comfortable ergonomics and large AMOLED displays with smooth 120Hz refresh rates for fluid scrolling, gaming and content consumption.

The Reno15 Pro is equipped with a 6.32-inch AMOLED display offering a high screen-to-body ratio and rich, vibrant colour reproduction. The Reno15 F features a larger 6.57-inch AMOLED display, delivering the same smooth performance and visual clarity across the range.

Exceptional Cameras

Camera performance continues to be a defining feature of the Reno Series. The Reno15 Pro introduces OPPO’s most advanced camera system yet within the lineup, headlined by a 200MP main sensor. This is supported by a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical portrait zoom and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, a 50MP ultra-wide camera enables detailed selfies and group shots.

A broad range of shooting modes, including 4K video, Dual-View Video and Underwater Photography, supports both creative use and everyday capture.

The Reno15 F offers a versatile camera setup designed for confident daily photography, featuring a 50MP main camera alongside ultra-wide and macro lenses, as well as a 50MP ultra-wide front camera. Across both models, OPPO’s AI-powered imaging tools, including AI Portrait Glow, AI Motion Photo, AI Eraser 2.0 and built-in video editing features, simplify content creation and refinement.

Performance and Battery

Powering the Reno15 Pro is the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, delivering reliable performance for multitasking, gaming and content creation. The device offers up to 12GB of RAM, expandable to 24GB, up to 512GB of storage and OPPO’s AI HyperBoost 2.0 technology to maintain responsiveness during sustained use. A 6,200mAh battery paired with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging ensures all-day power.

The Reno15 F is driven by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 Mobile Platform and features a larger 7,000mAh battery, also supported by 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, delivering dependable performance and extended battery life.

Both devices feature IP69-rated durability and support underwater photography.

Price and Availability

The OPPO Reno15 Series will be available in-store from 7 February across Vodacom, MTN, Telkom and Cell C. Both models will be offered on contract, supported by promotional launch bundles.
