Our Favourite Beauty Looks from the H&M SS25 Music Experience

H&M’s Spring/Summer 2025 Music Experience was a blast with the greatest live performances South Africa has to offer. It was truly not an event  to be missed, not just for the entertainment, but for fashion spectacle. It was an event where South African beauty reigned supreme.

The looks were bold, creative, and perfectly in tune with the electric energy of the night. We daw it all, from platinum hair and glossy lips to fierce smoky eyes and glowing skin. Here are the eight beauty moments that stole our hearts.

Violy – The Platinum Pixie Dream

Starting things off strong, presenter and podcaster, Violy served with a platinum blonde pixie that was both sharp and chic. Her structured fringe framed her eyes beautifully, while her fluttery lashes and subtle cat-eye liner added a sultry edge. A soft nude brown lip balanced out the look, allowing her sculpted cheekbones and glowing skin to shine. The overall effect was cool and fun with just the right amount of drama.

Ponahalo Mojapelo – Romantic Rebel

Model and international DJ, Ponahalo Mojapelo gave us modern-day Aphrodite with her cornrows that go in to a voluminous, tightly curled ponytail into a halo of fiery red perfection. Her glowing complexion was paired with a bold cherry-red lip that popped under the event’s scarlet lights. Shimmering lids and softly blushed cheeks tied everything together, making her look like she had just stepped out of a dream sequence.

Shakirah Sithole – The Rockstar Siren

Content creator, model and makeup artist, Shakirah Sithole brought the energy of the stage to her beauty game with bleached blond eyebrows. Her ash-white eyeshadow look was intense yet precise and brightening, with a bright berry red lip with dark brown lipliner that sealed the loom. She was every bit the siren commanding attention without saying a word.

Filah Lah Lah – Cool-Girl Glow

Singer, Filah Lah Lah was all about that gorgeous glowing skin. Her makeup leaned towards a bronzed minimalism with radiant complexion, glossy lips, and a sultry wash of shimmer across the eyes. Her hair, styled in neat braids, framed her face and highlighted that  jawline. The finishing touch was a subtle metallic highlight catching every flash of the camera. She really came to shine like the star that she is. 

Nomalanga Shozi – Old Hollywood Reimagined

With platinum blonde curls and a sultry pout, actress and TV presenter, Nomalanga Shozi channelled a modern Marilyn Monroe. Her skin was luminous with a satin finish, and her eyes were accentuated by long, fluttery lashes. A soft rose lip and perfectly arched brows gave her look that timeless Old Hollywood glamour, reimagined for the night

Elaine – The Doll-Faced Darling

Playful and cute, singer, Elaine leaned into doll-like beauty with her soft curls, a crisp white bow, and glowing makeup. Her skin was smooth and radiant, paired with a peachy blush that gave her cheeks a healthy flush. A brick red lip balanced out her defined eyes, which were finished with lashes that fluttered like butterfly wings. She looked sweet yet sultry 

Pumla Dineo – The Fierce Futurist

Closing things out, influencer, Pumla Dineo embodied fierce futurism with sleek silver-toned hair and a sharply contoured face. Her eye makeup was a smoky masterpiece, perfectly blended with a touch of shimmer to catch the light. A nude matte lip kept the focus on her intense eyes, while her brows were perfectly sculpted for definition. The whole look was futuristic and sexy.

Each of these beauty looks had their own vibe whether it was sultry glamour, playful romance, or futuristic edge, they were an experience to look at. The H&M SS25 Music Experience was really great. There were so many looks that had us in awe.
