On Saturday the 1st of August 2026 we entered women’s month by celebrating girlfriend’s day doing something impactful. We brought together pilates, flowers and wellness to embrace girlhood at the Linksfield Pilates Guru Studio.

The morning was filled with movement, creativity and moments to simply enjoy being around other women. From Mat and Reformer Pilates to creating flower arrangements, enjoying matcha and connecting over conversations, the Pilates & Flowers experience was about taking a moment to slow down, to make new friends, to have fun and to celebrate the friendships and connections that make girlhood special.

The morning began with a 45-minute Mat Pilates session led by Kylie Pietropaolo the founder of Pilates Guru Studio. Our guests worked out through a series of exercises on their mats, with Pilates balls incorporated into this session. The class brought everyone into the morning gradually, with guests moving through the exercises together while following Kylie’s guidance. The studio quickly became filled with movement as attendees stretched, lifted and worked through the different exercises.

Once the Mat Pilates session came to an end, the morning shifted from movement to a more relaxed social experience. The guests who attended the first session were then welcomed by a beautifully set-up refreshments table, where they could grab snacks and take a moment to recharge.

We also had a  “ What are you grateful for ?” board where guests could write down something they were grateful for. It was a small part of the morning, but it added a more personal element to the experience, encouraging everyone to pause and reflect before moving on to the next activity. The space also became an opportunity for guests to create content, take pictures and capture memories for themselves.

While the next Reformer Pilates session was taking place, guests also had the opportunity to make their own flower bouquets.

With buckets of colourful seasonal flowers set up around the space, guests selected their flowers and worked on their own personalised flower arrangements that they could take home. The floral activity brought a creative break into a morning that had started with physical movement. For many, it also became another opportunity to chat, meet someone new and enjoy the

experience outside of the workout itself.

The Mat Pilates session was followed by a 45-minute Reformer Pilates class, giving our attendees an opportunity to experience a different form of Pilates using reformer machines. Unlike the mat session, the reformer uses a moving carriage, springs, straps and a foot bar to add resistance and assist with movement. During the session, guests worked through controlled exercises that required them to concentrate on their form, movement and core stability. The session focused on areas such as strength, flexibility, mobility, posture and alignment, while the equipment also encouraged guests to remain present and focused as they worked through each movement.

Once the Reformer session ended, those guests were also able to take part in the activities happening around the studio. They could create their own flower bouquets, add a thought to the “What are you grateful for?” board, enjoy refreshments and connect with other attendees.

After moving between Pilates and the floral workshop, attendees had more time to unwind and

connect with one another.

Love Matcha was also on sight, providing guests the opportunity to enjoy matcha while continuing conversations and meeting other attendees. Some guests used the downtime to catch up with one another, while others took the opportunity to create content and memories from the event.

That social element was an important part of the morning. The event gave guests space to do more than simply attend a fitness class. It gave them an opportunity to celebrate girlhood while meeting people with similar interests, have conversations and enjoy a morning away from their usual routines.

In true Opulent Wellness Club style, there was a little something for everyone. Throughout the morning, guests were surprised with thoughtful gifts from some of our favourite wellness brands, including Feels Like Sunday, Skinny Green, Vida is Life, and Anani wellness.

A special thank you to these incredible partners for making the experience even more memorable. While we hadn't originally planned for every guest to leave with a goodie bag, Skinny Green made it possible by generously gifting each attendee one of their signature

shopping bags, along with weight control gummies and a sample of their green tea and coffee.

Feels Like Sunday encouraged the self-care ritual to continue long after the event ended. Every guest received the brand's butter cup multi-purpose balm and spa calm magnesium mist, thoughtful additions to an evening of slowing down, unwinding, and pouring back into themselves.

Vida is Life also ensured no one left empty-handed, gifting every attendee their style and set foaming mouse and a sample of their edge gel, allowing guests to discover the brand as part of their own wellness routine at home. And Anani Wellness gifted evryone with their restoration body balm.

The surprises didn't stop there. Throughout the morning, a handful of lucky guests also walked away with beautifully curated prizes from an incredible lineup of brands, including Beyond Skin, EAD, FEA Curated, The Luuk, Vida Is Life, Meloono, Buteri Skin, and Anani Wellness. Adding to the experience, Buteri Skin and The Luuk generously gifted every attendee exclusive vouchers.

From luxury beauty and wellness essentials to thoughtful lifestyle finds, each giveaway was carefully selected to make the experience even more memorable, adding an extra touch of excitement to an already unforgettable morning.

The giveaways added another layer of excitement to the morning, with guests leaving not only with the flowers they had created but also with products and treats from the brands that supported the experience.

Overall the morning was ultimately a celebration of girlhood and womanhood, but also a reminder that we deserve to take time for ourselves. Whether it was moving our bodies, creating something with our hands, meeting new people or simply allowing ourselves to enjoy the moment, wellness can look different for everyone. We hope the messages packed in fortune cookies for our guests to take home served as a small reminder to pour back into themselves, try something new and appreciate where they are in their own journey.

A heartfelt thank you to all the brands who helped make the experience possible and for contributing to the generous gifting experience. Most importantly, thank you to every woman who showed up, connected and celebrated with us.
