On 23 May 2026, the sound of spinning wheels, amapiano beats and cheering riders echoed through Kyalami as SpinXperience finally came to life. After months of planning, moving parts and behind-the-scenes pressure, the event ultimately became exactly what it set out to be: a community-driven wellness and lifestyle experience that blended fitness, music and energy into one memorable day.
The day opened with coach Alecia Nel-Monteiro, whose warm-up session immediately set the tone. Combining stretching, mobility work and light dance movement, her session focused on loosening muscles and preparing riders mentally and physically for the intensity ahead. With decades of experience across fitness, pilates, dance and breathwork, Alecia brought a calming but professional presence that grounded the room before the pace picked up.
From there, Kele “Fit_Kelie” took over for the first major ride session of the day. Known for energetic indoor cycling classes and rhythm-based training, Kele brought vibrant energy onto the floor, pushing riders through an engaging session that balanced endurance, movement and atmosphere.
Alecia then returned for a dedicated pilates session, shifting the focus toward controlled movement, recovery and core engagement. It provided a smart midpoint reset before the day transitioned back into higher-intensity riding.
The final stretch of SpinXperience became one of the standout moments of the event, with coaches Noxolo “CoachNox” Marks, Tebogo and Sibusiso collaborating across an extended session that brought different training styles and musical influences together.
CoachNox injected unmistakable South African flavour into the room with her Mzansi Core session. Backed by a soundtrack filled with gqom, amapiano and Venda pop, the ride leaned heavily into endurance and leg work, creating the kind of deep burn riders would definitely remember the next day. Her energy throughout the session was relentless and infectious.
Tebogo then shifted the mood with a pop-inspired session that incorporated resistance bands into the ride. Drawing from both his spinning background and real-world cycling experience across road and mountain biking, her class balanced performance-focused intensity with a playful edge that kept riders engaged throughout.
Sibusiso closed things off with a Maphorisa-inspired wind-down session that still carried enough intensity to keep the room moving. Known for his focus on hybrid performance training and community-centred coaching, his session brought the day to a fitting close by combining atmosphere, endurance and connection.
Beyond the bikes themselves, SpinXperience also leaned heavily into the lifestyle side of wellness culture.

Gloot had guests stopping by throughout the day to sample protein water and gummies, while Gym Bunny showcased apparel that matched the event’s activewear-heavy atmosphere.

Sunnyclub kept the energy flowing with its hard iced tea offerings, while Palevate Nutrition supported hydration throughout the event with water stations for guests and riders.

Food and refreshments added another layer to the experience. Guests tucked into burgers from The Niche Kitchen, while Love Matcha catered to matcha lovers looking for something lighter between sessions.
What also made SpinXperience memorable was the diversity of the crowd itself. Men and women filled the sessions throughout the day. Rather than catering to one type of fitness enthusiast, the event managed to create an environment that felt welcoming across different ages and experience levels.

The day ended on a celebratory note, with five attendees walking away as giveaway winners thanks to sponsors including Well I Am, Lamelle Research Laboratories and Revive Electrolytes. Still, no one left empty-handed, with every guest receiving a goodie bag featuring products from Laager Rooibos, Revive, Gloot, African Extracts and Buub Sunscreen.

By the end of the event, SpinXperience had become more than just another fitness activation. It turned into a reminder of how wellness events are evolving, moving beyond simple workouts into experiences built around music, recovery, community and lifestyle. And judging by the atmosphere at Kyalami, it is clear the appetite for that kind of experience is only growing.
