Mall of Africa continues to cement its position as one of the continent’s most influential retail destinations, unveiling an impressive line-up of new store openings and relocations. From global luxury heavyweights to proudly South African brands, the latest additions reflect a carefully curated retail strategy that brings international style and local relevance together under one roof.

Luxury retail takes a confident step forward with the opening of Coach, one of only a handful of stores in Gauteng. Located opposite Michael Kors, the boutique showcases the brand’s most recognisable pieces, including the Tabby and Rogue handbags, alongside refined everyday accessories crafted from premium leather.

Nearby, Kate Spade New York has made its South African debut with its first-ever standalone store. Known for its bold colour, graphic prints and playful sophistication, the opening offers local shoppers the opportunity to experience the brand in person for the first time.

Emporio Armani has reopened in a new, more advanced space inspired by the brand’s Milan flagship. One of only three Emporio Armani stores in Gauteng, the refreshed location delivers a more immersive environment for its fashion, footwear and accessories collections. Lacoste has also elevated its presence with the launch of its flagship store in Crystal Court. This is the first and only Lacoste flagship of its kind in South Africa, offering a future-facing interpretation of the brand’s signature sport-luxe style.

The fashion mix is further strengthened by a revamped BOSS store, now one of the largest in the country, offering the brand’s full fashion and accessories range. United Colours of Benetton has also opened its doors, bringing its distinctive Italian aesthetic, vibrant colour palettes and sustainability-led design approach to the mall.

Homegrown skincare brand Silki Skincare has transitioned from a successful SOOK pop-up into a permanent store following strong customer demand. The space offers personalised skincare discovery, including complimentary consultations and advanced skin analysis by trained somatologists.

South African label Old School, founded by two brothers, brings its nostalgic take on supporter gear and retro-inspired apparel to the mall, celebrating sporting culture through a contemporary lens.

Families are well catered for with the arrival of Kids Around, offering premium designer fashion for children from newborn to 16 years, featuring brands such as Hugo, Karl Lagerfeld, BOSS, DKNY, Michael Kors and Billy Blush.

Outdoor and lifestyle enthusiasts can now explore The North Face, which has opened one of only two official stores in South Africa. Diadora adds Italian sporting heritage to the mix, offering a considered selection of lifestyle and performance footwear and apparel that blends athletic credibility with everyday wearability.

Adding a flavour-led dimension to the experience, Pantry by Marble has opened its first-ever pop-up at Mall of Africa. Designed for shoppers on the move, the concept offers elevated grab-and-go snacks, sweet and savoury treats, coffee, and exclusive Pantry favourites.
“Mall of Africa continues to evolve alongside the people who shop here,” says Yasmeen Lorgat, General Manager of Mall of Africa. “These new openings reflect a strategic mix of global names, local talent and fresh concepts, all selected to create moments of discovery and connection. We remain committed to reimagining the retail experience and ensuring that every visit offers something new.”
