Miladys AW26 Collection Launch: A Season Built For Women

As the temperatures continue to drop and the chill of the season settles in, wardrobes naturally begin to shift towards pieces that offer both warmth and ease. Miladys introduced its AW26 collection that is thoughtfully designed around the everyday lives of women and what they truly need from their clothing around this time of the year.

The brand brought this vision to life through an intimate showcase held at The Terrace at Ground, where the focus was not just on fashion, but on creating a space where women could feel seen, understood and celebrated. Hosted by Sechaba Gqeba, the event unfolded with intention, based in the idea that every decision made by the brand begins and ends with her.

At the heart of the AW26 collection was a clear understanding of how women live today. The pieces are designed to integrate seamlessly into daily routines, offering versatility without compromising on style. There is a continued emphasis on dependable fit, consistent quality and clothing that feels both reliable and personal.

Among the standout elements this season is denim. A variety of shapes, fits and washes ensure that there is something for every woman and every preference. Denim is a foundational piece that can easily transition across different settings. It is less about trend-driven design and more about creating options that feel natural and wearable. Beyond denim, the collection introduces knitwear sets that bring a sense of ease to dressing. These pieces are soft, comfortable and adaptable. They reflect a growing desire for clothing that moves with the wearer rather than restricting her.

Layering continues to play an important role, with shackets emerging once again as a key item. This season, they are reimagined through updated textures, a broader colour palette and versatile silhouettes. They offer a practical and polished solution that allows women to pull together an outfit ewithout having to put much thought into it, all while staying warm.

Accessories completed the collection with a sense of personality, individuality and pizazz. Bold jewellery, from layered bangles and bracelets to brooches, is paired with statement scarves that add depth and character to even the simplest look. These finishing touches make it easy to take everyday dressing to the next level with minimal effort.

Guests were invited to take part in personalised colour analysis sessions in collaboration with Thobile Sibuyi. The experience offered them practical insights into how colour can enhance features and personal style. A live performance by Zama Jobe brought warmth to the space. In a further nod to celebrating women, the event also featured the Chery Tiggo 7, tied to an in-store Mother’s Day campaign where one shopper stands the chance to win the vehicle.
