Nicole Scherzinger didn’t just arrive at the 2025 Tony Awards—she owned the moment. Her stunning look set the stage for a night that was all about boldness, grace, and owning the moment.
Before she ever stepped onstage to accept her first Tony Award, Nicole Scherzinger had already delivered one of the night’s most striking performances—on the red carpet. Nominated (and soon to be crowned) Best Leading Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard, Scherzinger arrived at New York’s Radio City Music Hall in a look that set the tone for an unforgettable evening. It was commanding. It was composed. And it was every inch the leading lady moment.

Scherzinger wore a custom crimson Rodarte gown that struck the perfect balance between theatrical flair and red carpet elegance. The strapless, sequined design featured a sculpted bodice and a cinched waist, highlighting her silhouette. A thigh-high slit added movement and ease, while matching crimson patent pumps tied the look together. Completing the ensemble was a sheer cape that trailed behind her—like the final note of a show-stopping performance.

To match the drama of the gown, Scherzinger turned to the timeless brilliance of Kwiat diamonds—more than 50 carats in total. The standout piece was a 22.50-carat pear-shaped pendant that rested at her collarbone, catching the light every time she moved. Five-carat emerald-cut studs and a 17.50-carat cocktail ring brought structure and sparkle—but nothing felt over the top. Just enough to make a statement, without stealing the show.

Her beauty look followed the same principle as her outfit: bold, but beautifully balanced. Makeup artist Rokael Lizama chose a saturated red lip—courtesy of Revlon—that matched the exact crimson of her Rodarte gown. The rest of the makeup was kept soft and refined: subtly smoky eyes, radiant skin, and a sculptural finish that brought elegance without competing with the drama of the dress.
Her hair, styled by celebrity hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos, added a touch of timeless glamour. He created a sleek, twisted bun inspired by Breakfast at Tiffany’s—a classic nod to Audrey Hepburn. “It was Nicole’s big night, so I wanted to give her something timeless,” Giannetos told WWD. “Nicole has such unique and beautiful features, so we went with an Old Hollywood updo. It fits her so well.” The final look was crisp, polished, and effortlessly framed her striking features.

At 46, Nicole Scherzinger’s Broadway debut in Sunset Boulevard wasn’t just another career milestone—it was a moment that made it clear she’s exactly where she’s meant to be. The show picked up seven Tony nominations, but it was her raw, magnetic performance that brought the house down—and earned her the award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical.

On a night celebrating theatre’s brightest stars, Scherzinger didn’t just shine—she stood tall in her power. From the sequins to the diamonds, every detail said, “I know who I am, and I’m here to own it.” She reminded us that sometimes, the real performance begins long before the curtain rises. Sometimes, it starts the moment you walk in—confident, present, and ready to shine.
