The desert doesn’t sleep in Fausto Puglisi’s Cavalli. It prowls. It flares. And for Resort 2026, it gleams with fuchsia tailoring, shredded denim, and golden sparkle that hits like sun on cracked glass. Punchy colours meet fearless prints in a collection that struts forward with energy and colour, offering glamour as both escapism and intent.

Puglisi’s globe-trotting instinct, recently sparked by travels through Miami’s Art Deco candyland and Mexico City’s La Condesa translates into a lineup built for women who don’t shy away from attention. His Resort 2026 offering doesn’t just turn up the volume—it adds light, movement, and conviction in a moment when fashion’s purpose feels more vital than ever.

The collection opens in full colour: wasabi green, poppy red, lemon yellow, and vibrant fuchsia—blocked together in bias-cut slip dresses, sculpted suits, and micro shift dresses paired with matching leggings. This vivid palette recalls early-2000s Cavalli collections, but here it feels sharper, sunnier, and more intentional.

Animal prints—zebra, leopard, and ocelot appear across silks, suedes, and poplins, yet they’re never wild for wild’s sake. Each print is styled with purpose: ruffled hems on mini dresses, lace trims that intensify the colours, or sequinned slips that catch the light like shimmering heat waves.

Florals bloom with striking contrast, swirling across satin blouses, sheer button-ups, and coat linings, while devoré dresses layer symmetrical motifs reminiscent of damask and brocade, drifting over chiffon like mist on desert stone.

Bold lines play a key role too whether as belts, waist-defining panels, or stripes that amplify the maximalist effect, they anchor the collection with rhythm and cohesion.

Denim forms a central pillar of the collection, reimagined with an edge of rebellion. Jeans are slashed and distressed, styled with leopard chiffon inserts or treated with laser techniques for added texture and attitude. Denim corset tops echo Renaissance lines but feel wholly modern—half couture, half street. A corseted denim mini dress furthers the narrative, exuding both grit and elegance in equal measure.

There’s shimmer here but it’s never superficial. Gold sequins, crystals on velvet macramé, pearl embellishments on leather, and liquid lamé in brilliant hues light up the collection with deliberate opulence. This is not sparkle as afterthought—it’s storytelling through shine.

Accessories heighten the drama. Roar and Serpentine bags return in refreshed textures: croc-stamped, metallic, and richly saturated. Pointed slingbacks and stilettos complete the looks with poise and punch.

The Cavalli woman has no interest in blending in. But Resort 2026 offers her more than spectacle—it offers her substance. She can wear florals, sequins, denim, leather and wear them with agency. This is not maximalism for its own sake. It’s emotion, layered. Identity, styled. And above all, it’s a refusal to quiet down.

In a world that can feel uncertain, Puglisi’s Cavalli delivers confidence not just in look, but in spirit. The result? A collection that burns bright with hope and dares to shine louder than the sun.
