This holiday season, Nespresso South Africa brings festive magic with its Unforgettable Holidays collection, blending exquisite limited-edition coffees and gourmet treats. In collaboration with celebrated chef Jean Imbert, the range celebrates global destinations with flavours that are deeply inspired by culinary artistry, designed to elevate the holiday experience with elegance and warmth.

Jean Imbert: Bringing World-Class Culinary Expertise to Nespresso

Jean Imbert, known for his Michelin-starred excellence and visionary culinary style, collaborated with Nespresso to bring his distinctive approach to the holiday collection. Imbert’s journey, which includes leading prestigious kitchens from Paris to the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express and soon to new ventures in Dubai, has influenced his creation of these holiday coffees, capturing both rich cultural heritage and modern sophistication.

"It is an extraordinary honour to collaborate with Nespresso, crafting these unique and exclusive coffee creations. Each blend reflects the essence of my travels, from the peanut and sesame notes of distant landscapes to the comforting almond essence reminiscent of Paris’s famed croissant aux amandes," Imbert shared.

Through its Festive Odyssey campaign, Nespresso invites coffee lovers to embark on a sensory journey, inspired by Belmond’s luxurious train travels and remarkable properties worldwide. Every flavour in this holiday collection is a celebration of the world’s finest regions, curated with Jean Imbert’s touch to infuse the warmth of seasonal gatherings with a truly refined experience.

The Unforgettable Espresso and Double Espresso offer bold aromas inspired by Latin America’s coffee traditions, blending Arabica beans from Peru and Costa Rica with a hint of Robusta. For an elegant taste of Paris, the Almond Croissant Flavour delights with almond and buttery pastry notes, while the Peanut and Roasted Sesame Flavour combines toasted sesame and mixed nuts, evoking Imbert’s culinary experiences across diverse cultures.

The new limited-edition holiday range is complemented by two signature biscuits inspired by travel: the Chocolate Chips Cookie, echoing the flavours of New York, and the Lemon Flavoured Shortbread, capturing Edinburgh’s charm. Each bite is designed to enrich the coffee experience, enhancing the sense of journey that each flavour embodies.

Nespresso’s Commitment to Quality and Sustainability

Behind this seasonal collection lies Nespresso’s commitment to sustainability, marked by its AAA Sustainable Quality™ Programme. Since 2003, the initiative has supported over 150,000 farmers across 18 countries, improving coffee quality, yields, and livelihoods. In 2022, Nespresso achieved B Corp™ certification, affirming its dedication to environmental and social responsibility—a testament to its commitment to sustainable luxury.

For those seeking memorable holiday gifts, Nespresso’s Advent Calendar returns in 2024, revealing a new coffee each day and concluding with a limited-edition porcelain mug. The limited-edition Travel Mug, crafted from 90% recycled stainless steel, along with beloved Nespresso accessories like the Lume Mugs and Vertuo Glassware, completes the Festive Odyssey theme with a thoughtful range of gifts.

Celebrate the Season with Nespresso’s Gourmet Recipes
